With approx. 325,000 inhabitants, Bielefeld is the region’s economic and cultural centre. It is located at the heart of Germany – at the edge of the Teutoburg Forest.

Working environment:

The von Bodelschwinghschen Stiftungen Bethel foundation was established almost 200 years ago. With its vast array of institutions, homes as well as specialist clinics and hospitals, Bethel has become home to many ill and disabled people.

Responsibilities:

Assistance, supervision and support of people with mental, physical or multiple disabilities in residential homes, workshops for people with disabilities and the Bodelschwinghschen Stiftungen special education centre. An assignment in the (integrative) children and youth work programme is also possible. The voluntary aid agency Bethel will assign the available jobs according to the institution's requirements and the inclinations of the scholarship holder.

When does it start?

The scholarship programme begins 01 August 2013. The application deadline is 31 May 2013.
