Location:

Mexico City is the capital of Mexico (Spanish: Ciudad de México) with approx. 20 million inhabitants, including the peripheral districts. This makes Mexico City one of the world's largest metropolitan regions.

Working environment:

The Kolpingwerk in Mexico has developed rapidly within the past twenty years, contributing to substantially improving the life situation of many people. Numerous support projects and educational measures have played a part in this. Whether in the Kolping families or the education and further training programmes, the main objective is to improve the living conditions of people.

Responsibilities:

Trainees will be employed in the regional office of the Kolpingwerk in Mexico City, primarily in the area of professional training or further training programmes.

Young people who are, for example, training to become carpenters or women who are learning to sew and cut fabric to be able to make a living in the future, are the main focus area of the work. Computer courses are also included in the services of the Kolping professional education centres.

When does it start?

The scholarship programme begins 01 August 2013. The application deadline is 31 May 2013.
